Reentry
Support for Family Members/Caregivers
As of 2024, FERC has expanded our services to include specialized support for our Family Caregivers of a Loved One who is incarcerated and/or in the reentry transition from juvie/jail/prison back into the community. Our Family Navigators partner with the Family Member(s) to improve their Loved One’s reentry, setting them up for success. We understand that being incarcerated with a mental illness is tough. Family Navigators provide guidance, explain the services that are available, help navigate through resources, and facilitate linkages. We support the Family when your Loved One appears to be experiencing unjust preclusion from employment opportunities, education, housing, family reunification, financial assistance, and other public systems.
